A moderate earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale on Monday shook again the island of Zakynthos. The quake’s epicentre was located in the sea region 66km southwest of Zakynthos with focal depth 10km.
No damages or injuries have been reported. The tremor was felt also in Cephalonia and in the region of Ilia.
The quake is part of the aftershock sequence of the strong earthquake that hit the island on October 26.
