The National Archaeological Museum in Athens, in collaboration with Open House Athens, is to participate in the ‘Open Tours’ action and invite the public to become acquainted with the history of the building where it is housed this coming Saturday, April 1.
The event will be held from noon until 16:00 and aims to present the architectural significance of the NAM building and its historic development, through tours of the interior and the grounds. The tours will be given by the museum archaeologists and conservation staff, in collaboration with Open House Athens volunteers.
Tour groups will be formed at regular intervals on a first-come, first-served basis. No tickets or advance bookings are required.
