ND says Tsipras provided no answers to problems facing Greeks

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras did not provide any answers to the real problems facing Greeks during the press briefing he held at the 82nd Thessaloniki International Fair on Sunday, New Democracy said in a statement.

“Particularly for the 100 billion euros he imposed on citizens, the new taxes and pension cuts, the forced sales and seizures [of property], capital controls, collective redundancies, the generation of 360 euros, reduction of tax-free threshold, the exorbitant insurance contributions, the state’s huge debts towards the private sector, the abolition of social benefits, the lack of security for citizens, the collapse of the public health system, the vested interests, the defense minister’s talk with a convict and, finally, the university entry exams which he said he would abolish,” the party said.
