Main opposition New Democracy (ND) vice president Costis Hatzidakis in statements to public broadcaster ERT accused the government of bringing new measures.
He also said that the government and the prime minister made a series of contradictory statements on the deadlines and the end of the negotiation.
“Nothing is more uncertain than the statements of the prime minister,” he said adding that the government estimations were proved wrong.
Hatzidakis stressed that the government’s policy does not bear fruit. “We have returned to recession and deposits outflow, bad loans have increased and the borrowing rates are on the rise. Things are getting worse. The trust has been lost, the markets have stalled, exports and investments are under pressure,” he said commenting on the government’s statements that austerity has come to an end.
