ND’s Kikilias expresses concern over Turkish provocations

Main opposition New Democracy (ND) shadow defence minister Vassilis Kikilias on Tuesday expressed strong concern over the Turkish provocations a few hours before Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ was due to arrive in Turkey.

“I had warned Mr Tsipras not to go to Turkey unprepared because Mr Erdogan would put everything on the table, from the Treaty of Lausanne. Just a few hours before the Greek prime minister arrived, the Turkish president put out a bounty on the eight soldiers,” Kikilias posted on Twitter, referring to the eight Turkish servicemen that fled to Greece after the failed coup attempt in Turkey in July 2016.
