Nine candidates in tender to sell Hellenic Sugar Industry’s two factories in Serbia

A total of nine investors from Western Europe and Serbia expressed interest for the purchase of Hellenic Sugar Industry’s two factories in Serbia, as part of an international tender, according to secure information by ANA.

Hellenic Sugar Industry’s chief executive Pantelis Manis, told ANA that over the next few days the data room is about the open and to sign confidentiality contracts with candidates. “We all work intensively so that the industry remained alive and to be put on a stable growth orbit and to operate under fair corporate rules and on future terms,” Manis said. He added that the minimum price set for the purchase of the two sugar units in Serbia is 25 million euros.

The international tender, launched at the end of January 2017, refers to teh sale of AD Fabrika Secera Sajkaska Zabali and of Crvenka Fabrika Secera AD, currently fully owned by Hellenic Sugar Industry.
