No elections before autumn 2019, gov’t sources say in response to ND

National elections will be held in the fall of 2019, government sources said on Thursday in response to the main opposition New Democracy’s (ND) “obsession with destabilizing the country” and ND Deputy Dora Bakoyannis’ “irresponsible stance” concerning interview comments about the FYROM name issues.

“Elections will be held in the autumn of 2019. Until then, the current stable and responsible government will have taken the country out of the memoranda, in which the ND and PASOK governments threw it,” the sources said.
