No notable changes in Euroelection returns, with nearly 90 pct of the votes counted

No significant changes were noted by the continuing counting of ballots for European Parliament elections in Greece, as of 21:46 on Monday night.

New Democracy (ND) leads the electoral race for the European parliament with 33.18 percent (7 seats in the European parliament), with 89.57 percent of the votes counted by 10:00 p.m. on Monday night.

Ruling SYRIZA came second with 23.80 percent (6 seats), followed by Kinima Allagis (KINAL) with 7.69 percent (2 seats).

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) came fourth with 5.41 percent (2 seats) followed by Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avghi) with 4.85 percent (2 seats), Elliniki Lysi with 4.13 percent (1 seat) and Mera25 with 3.01 percent (1 seat).
