OPAP Group on Tuesday said it has selected OTE Group as a strategic partner to upgrade telecommunication infrastructure of its agent network.
In an announcement, OPAP said this partnership is consistent with the Vision 2020 launched by OPAP and its strategic priorities to invest on network, taking advantage of the latest digital and technological breakthroughs and developing a portfolio of product and services of global standards.
Under the agreement reached, OTE Group will install new network infrastructure in OPAP’s network offering higher availability and more efficiaency in the operation of the network along with better quality of services.
The new infrastructure, to exploit OTE’s New Generation Access networks will allow OPAP to introduce new products and services, such as VLTs and SSBTs and to improve the performance of its existing products.
Damian Cope, OPAP’s CEO, commenting on the agreement said: “I am in the pleasant position to announce a strategic partnership with OTE Group.
