Parliament approves bill for the restructuring of Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority

Parliament approved with a wide majority on Thursday a draft bill for the restructuring of Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority, one of the prior actions demanded by the country’s lenders to disburse the 2.8-billion-euro sub-tranche of its loan.

With 252 lawmakers present, 156 voted in favour (SYRIZA, ANEL, Centrist’s Union), 79 voted against (New Democracy, Golden dawn and the Communist Party) and 17 voted “present” (Democratic Coalition, Potami).
