PASOK accuses government spox of ‘blatant intervention’ in work of Justice over Novartis file

Opposition party PASOK accused government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos of a “blatant attempt” to intervene in the work of Justice, after it was reported that Tzanakopoulos visited the office of Supreme Court prosecutor Xeni Dimitriou to learn about the ongoing investigation into the alleged bribery case involving Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis.

“From the press release of the government spokesman on his visit to the Supreme Court shows a blatant attempt at an undisguised intervention in the work of Justice,” PASOK spokesman Pavlos Christides said in a statement.
