Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will visit the region of Thrace on November 25 to inspect ongoing infrastructure projects and meet with members of the Muslim minority.
Tsipras will land in Alexandroupolis airport on Friday morning (08.05 local) and go to the port, where he will inspect ongoing work to upgrade it and the progress made in the construction of Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).
At 11:00 he will visit the Muslim minority’s village of Fillyra, in the regional unit of Rodopi and half an hour later he will leave for Xanthi where he will first visit Xanthi’s high school for the Muslim minority and then at 13:30 the “Athens” research and innovation center.
At 14:00, the prime minister will chair a meeting with local officials from Thrace which will be held at the offices of the Eastern Macedonia-Thrace prefecture. He will then travel to Komotini, where at 18:00 he will inaugurate the 24th Trade Fair “Eastern Macedonia –Trace”. His schedule will conclude at 19:30, with a speech at Arcadia Hotel in Komotini.
