Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will speak on Wednesday, at 7.30 pm, at the regional conference held in Larissa.
Earlier in the day, he will meet with ministers, representatives of producers and the local administration.
The meetings will help to better plan and make more effective use of funding tools in order to make these tools an effective lever for the growth of the local economy.
The government focuses on regional planning now that the Greek economy is showing signs of recovery and the country’s exit from the fiscal adjustment programs is visible. The transition to a time of sustainable recovery must find the country ready to make use of its important productive possibilities without the problems of the past.
