PM’s office addresses questions over Floros case to ND’s president

The prime minister’s press office on Monday asked main opposition New Democracy to confirm whether there were links between convicted criminal Aristidis Floros and a nephew of ND President Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who also acted as his advisor.

In a series of questions, the press office asked whether it was true that the individual in question had set up a joint company with Floros and admitted that this was used to send money embezzled in the Energa scandal abroad in testimony to a prosecutor, and also whether he testified after the scandal was revealed in order to receive more lenient treatment.

It also asked whether he was a close family friend and whether Mitsotakis would dare to remove him.
