Potami leader Theodorakis: No-confidence vote to government

Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis said in an interview to Ant1 TV on Tuesday he would give a vote of no-confidence to the government of Alexis Tsipras if the main opposition New Democracy tabled it in the Greek parliament.

Theodorakis he said that he supported the Prespes Agreement although “if the negotiations were better, if there had been a council of party leaders as I requested, we could have gained some more concessions,” adding that “in negotiations you cannot win it all, you only win all at war if you are the victor.”

On the possibility of ND leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis tabling a no-confidence vote, Theodorakis said, “I’m not helping Tsipras’ government, I’m an opponent of his,” and “if Mr. Mitsotakis tables a no-confidence vote, I’m going to vote for it.”
