Potami on Eurogroup: Government lets time slip away to avoid difficult decisions

The government is letting time slip away and not closing the second program review with its creditors to avoid making difficult decisions, Potami said in a press release on Monday, commenting on the Eurogroup meeting in Brussels.

“The Eurogroup [meetings] end, our economy is in a state of shock and the government is letting time pass because it doesn’t want to make difficult decisions, which become even more difficult as time goes by,” the party said.

“SYRIZA-ANEL must tell us what we have achieved by prolonging the review. What is obvious to all the people in the market is the cost they pay daily. Our partners are not in a rush, but those who are involved in the real economy are,” it added.
