President Pavlopoulos: It is our duty to defend our national issues without concessions

Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos was on Sunday in Konitsa to attend celebrations to mark the 106th anniversary since the town’s liberation from the Ottoman rule.

The anniversary, Pavlopoulos said during his address, “reminds us, the Greeks, of our duty to defend our national issues without concessions and under conditions of solid unity.”

Furthermore, he reiterated his long-standing position that “the court of History will not forgive us any more discords and divisions” and stressed that “before matters that big and important, together we will defend our country and the vital issues of our people and our nation in their integrity.”
