Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos met on Wednedsay with the president of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE), Vassilis Korkidis.
“There is stabilisation. We expect to see the resilience of this stabilization,” Korkidis said before the meeting.
The Greek president referred to ESEE’s proposals concerning small and medium-sized enterprises, which he called “the pillars of the economy”. Pavlopoulos pointed out two proposals, “on the issue of business taxation and those related to the fight against smuggling,” saying these need to be discussed further.
