Provocative and criminal actions intolerable in a law-abiding country, says Tzanakopoulos

The Greek government and the prime minister unequivocally condemn the attack against the PASOK party’s headquarters, State Minister and government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said during a press briefing on Tuesday, referring to the shots fired at police guarding the party’s offices on Monday night.

Tzanakopoulos stressed that “these provocative and criminal actions cannot be tolerated in a law-abiding country and the perpetrators will face the consequences outlined by law.” The prime minister immediately contacted the citizen protection minister as soon as he was informed of the attack and asked for the arrest of the perpetrators, the spokesman added.
