After a long period of recession, the Greek economy showed signs of a weak rebound in 2017, booking low growth rates, ICAP said. The sharp contraction of gross domestic product during the recent crisis hit the labor market hard, causing significant job losses and sending unemployment higher, it added.

However, as of 2014, there has been trend of recovery in the job market and unemployment but at slow rates.
