Registration platform allowing Greeks abroad to vote will be up and running two months after relevant bill

A platform allowing Greeks living abroad to register to vote in Greek elections will open two months after the relevant draft bill passes Parliament, Deputy Interior Minister Thodoris Livanios said on Tuesday.

In an interview to Parapolitika 90.1 FM radio, Livanios said that proof of eligibility to vote will be drawn from existing online databases or be entered on the database by the prospective voters, he said, without necessitating a visit to a consulate or service.
