Representatives of the disabled meet with FinMin over tax, pension issues

Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said he would look into exempting people with advanced disabilities from taxation regulations kicking in on January 1, at a meeting on Tuesday.

The president of the National Confederation of People with Disabilities, Ioannis Vardakastanis, said the minister would consult with the Labor Ministry and inform them about it, especially about their request for keeping the tax exemption ceiling and exempting individuals with a high percentage of disability from property tax.
