Secondary schools reopened their classrooms to students on Monday, February 1.
Schools have been closed for several weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic and the health restrictions imposed as a precaution against its spread. The decision to reopen schools was taken on the basis of a recommendation by the health ministry’s committee of coronavirus experts.
Exceptions are upper secondary schools in the so-called “red zone” areas where there is a heavy epidemiological burden, where distance learning is continuing.
The opening of schools is accompanied by health protection measures against the spread of the new coronavirus: mandatory use of a mask indoors and outdoors, use of antiseptics and good ventilation of the premises.
