Sklavenitis to take over Marinopoulos’ stores from March 1

Sklavenitis Group will operate a network of 560 stores in Greece and Cyprus from March 1, the largest supermarket network in the country, after completing the integration of Marinopoulos’ networks to Sklavenitis Greek Supermarkets AEE.

In an announcement, Sklavenitis said that all Marinopoulos’ stores will remain closed on Tuesday, 28 February, in order to complete technical works related with cash machines. The re-opening of Marinopoulos’ stores will be made gradually, focusing primarily in regional Greece where Sklavenitis Group so far has no presence.
