Sources: No plan for a cabinet reshuffle this week

There is no plan for a cabinet reshuffle this week, a high-level government source told journalists covering Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ visit to Ithaca, where the premier delivered an address earlier on Tuesday on Greece’s completion of the fiscal adjustment program.

“We are not going to ruin people’s vacation time,” the government source told journalists, allowing for the possibility they may be held following this week.

The same source said that there is no immediate need for Greece to access the markets right away, as interest rates are low and gross financing requirements are at low levels, especially lower than those in other South European countries.

In addition, the government source said that Tsipras will be visiting Moscow.
