S&P raises Greece’s ratings to ‘B’ from ‘B-‘, says outlook is “positive”

Standard & Poor’s upgraded Greece’s ratings to ‘B’ from ‘B-‘ on Friday and revised the outlook to “positive” from “stable”.

In a statement, S&P implied the rating could be further upgraded within 2018.

The positive outlook indicates the rating agency’s view that prospects have improved in development and public finance, along with a recovering labour market, and in the midst of a period of relative political stability.
