Spirtzis: Draft law on e-infrastructures record to be tabled soon in parliament

Preventive and period inspections and regular maintenance works to all the country’s infrastructures, announced Infrastructures and Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis in an interview with the Sunday edition of Ethnos newspaper also describing the main axes of the draft law on the e-infrastructures record expected to be tabled shortly in parliament.

The e-record will include the necessary studies and reports on safety, maintenance and operation of each infrastructure in order every state agency to programme on time its maintenance and the cost.

Spirtzis also clarified that the government will not privatise the 23 public airports leaving open however the possibility of public and private partnerships only to individual infrastructures that are facing the risk of obsolescence
