The Interministerial Committee of Strategic Investments approved on Thursday two new projects with a total budget of 181,400,000 euros in telecommunications and tourism, during a meeting headed by Economy Minister Dimitri Papadimitriou.
The projects concern:
-An investment plan for the implementation of a Next Generation Access (NGA) fiber optic network in approximately 25 urban centers across Greece by Vodafone Greece amounting to 61,400,000 euros.
-An investment plan of mild touristic development for a VIP Club that will attract and host high-income visitors to Skorpios Island, implemented by company MYKINAI SA, amounting to 120,000,000 euros.
“The investment climate in the country has changed and this is now reflected in the business initiatives that occur every day. Both strategic investors and small and medium-sized businesses confirm their confidence in the Greek economy,” Papadimitriou said after the meeting.
