No survivors in Air Algerie, French President Hollande says

rench President Francois Hollande, speaking after a crisis meeting he had with his ministers regarding yesterday’s air disaster, announced on Friday that there were no survivors in the crash of Air Algerie aircraft that claimed the lives of 119 people.

Hollande also announced that the black box of the aircraft that crashed in the north of Mali in West Africa was found.

The French President said that the “black box” is in the hands of a French military unit that was dispatched to secure the site and gather evidence.

The French leader added that it has not been yet determined what caused the crash, but the poor weather is one of the factors being considered.
