SYRIZA: ‘Half the cabinet assembles only to reverse decision on wearing face-masks from optional to mandatory’

Main opposition party SYRIZA on Wednesday evening said that the Prime Minister “assembled nearly half the ministerial cabinet only to decide that wearing face masks in public places, which the government last week said is optional, is now mandatory.”

The party was referring to Wednesday’s broad cabinet meeting, chaired by PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which discussed intensifying the implementation of anti-coronavirus measures currently in effect.
