TAP Manager: TAP construction in Greece sends a strong message abroad that investors can trust the country

The construction of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in Greece sends a strong message abroad that investors can trust the country, said Rikard Scoufias, TAP Country Manager in Greece, during a speech at the “Thessaloniki Summit” on Friday.

Scoufias said TAP is currently the single biggest investment on Greek soil, having cooperated with 150 Greek companies for the supply of materials, products and services. More than 13,000 pipelines have reached the ports of Thessaloniki, Alexandroupolis and Kavala since the beginning of construction and their number is expected to reach 32,000 on the Greek side, most of which were built by Corinth Pipeworks, he said.
