Ten burn victims still intubated, 71 adults and 23 children still in hospital

Ten of the 11 seriously injured burn victims were still intubated and in critical condition on Tuesday, following the devastating fires that swept Attica. Hospital authorities throughout the region said that 71 adults and 23 children were still in hospital.

Many people that had presented for treatment have already been discharged while others will be able to leave after 48 hours observation.

The number of children admitted to children’s hospitals rose from 16 to 23, which will remain in hospital for observation.
