There are prospects for further cooperation between Greece and Serbia in the business field and the relations of both countries, with emphasis on energy and transit issues, secretary General for International Economic Relations George Tsipras on Wednesday said in statements to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
Moreover, Tsipras referred to the importance of the Greek presence to Serbia and the very good prospects for cooperation.
He said that there is significant Serbian interest in Greek enterprises and emphasised on the railway linking of the two countries. “It is obvious from both sides that there is great need for this connection, which will diminish the time for the movement of goods, but also for passengers. That will bring the two countries closer; it is also project in which there is interest from third parties, for example from China,” he said.
Finally, Tsipras made special mention to tourist arrivals from Serbia to Greece, giving priority on the improvement of tourism services.
