Thirteen Syrians and one Turkish national returned to Turkey

A total of 13 Syrians – nine men, one woman and three unaccompanied children – and a Turkish national were flown from Lesvos to Adana, Turkey, on Wednesday, as part of the EU-Turkey deal.

Twelve of the people had waived their right to seek asylum, while one had not expressed a request to apply. The plane was chartered by Frontex.
