Tough austerity policy questioned, gov’t spokesman comments on British elections

The outcome of the British elections justifies Jeremy Corbyn, who has managed to turn the Labour Party into a really great political force in Britain after many years, and this was done with a left-hand turnaround, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on Friday in an interview with the radio station “Sto Kokkino 105.5”, commenting on the first results of the British elections.

It was this political turn that bore in mind the needs of society, he noted adding that Theresa May has suffered a very big defeat.

Moreover, he estimated that there is a global tendency to doubt the existing tough austerity policy.
He noted that the austerity policy is being questioned in the working classes and the big question now is who will respond to this adding that the forces of the Left are the ones that must respond.
