TrainOSE increases its passenger capacity in view of Patras carnival

TrainOSE on Monday announced the addition of both train and TrainOSE-commissioned bus services, in view of the upcoming Patras Grand Parade carnival on Sunday March 1, which marks the end of Greece’s three-week carnival season or ‘Apokries’.

In addition to more train services, passengers traveling from Athens to the city of Patras, northern Peloponnese, can take the suburban railway to Kiato, then board the TrainOSE buses to Patras. The reverse also applies.

TrainOSE is also increasing its capacity on other routes nationwide, to aid rail passengers wishing to visit carnivals in other cities, such as in Chalkida, Xanthi and Florina.
