Tsakalotos discusses progress of talks with creditors with British and Dutch ambassadors

The progress of the ongoing negotiations with Greece’s creditors on its second program review was discussed in successive meetings between Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and the Ambassadors of Britain and the Netherlands on Monday. According to a ministry press release, all sides noted the need to speed up the completion of the review.

In the meeting with British Ambassador Kate Smith, the two sides focused on the prospects of strengthening economic relations with an emphasis on attracting British investments in Greece, but also on issues that concern Britain’s relations with the EU.

Speaking with Dutch Ambassador Caspar Veldkamp, Tsakalotos discussed developments in the Netherlands ahead of the general elections.
