“This Easter celebration marks the passage to a new era of hope and optimism, the passage to the post-memorandum era,” Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Sunday.
The prime minister sent a message of hope and optimism, saying that the Greek people will respond to the modern challenges with determination and wisdom. He added that the Greek people defend the universal values of freedom, democracy, social justice and solidarity.
Moreover, he said that now that Greece is back on its feet, it is and will remain a pillar of security and stability in a wider destabilized region.
“After eight years, we can be optimistic again and hope for a better future. The Greeks have overcome the difficulties and, thanks to their inexhaustible powers, the country is back on its feet,” he underlined.
