Turkish aircrafts violated Athens FIR on Wednesday

Four Turkish aircrafts F-16 flew over Kalogeri islets, northeast of the island of Andros, at 29,000 feet at 11:56 on Wednesday.

According to General Staff’s announcement, the four Turkish aircrafts violated Athens FIR without submitting a flight plan. The four aircrafts flew between the islands of Limnos and Lesvos at 11:40 and at 11:56 over Kalogeri. Two of them left Athens FIR at 12:13 and three minutes later the other two.

The Turkish aircrafts were recognised and intercepted by Greek fighter jets.
