A Turkish F-16 fighter jet entered the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting flight plans on Wednesday.
The Turkish military aircraft flew over the island of Agathonissi at 11:01 at an altitude of 26,000 feet, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff said.
According to the same announcement, the Turkish F-16 was recognised and intercepted by the Greek airforce.
