Twelve candidates bid for PPC’s CHP plant in Amyntaio

A total of 12 companies or joint ventures have expressed interest in a tender launched by PPC Renewables to build and operate a biomass CHP plant to produce renewable heat and electricity in Amyntaio.

The 12 candidates are: Grannul Invest, Priit Uuemma, EP Holding, CNIM, SENER, Alfamar, Dongfang, Mytilineos, China Western Power Industrial, Terna – Electrabel, Helector, Zorlu- Turboden – Violar – DhP- Kablitz.

PPC Renewables is seeking a strategic partner who will hold a majority stake and take over the planning, funding, construction and operation of the unit. The power unit will have a power of 25 MW (electric) and 45 MWth (Megawatt thermal heat energy).

PPCR will announce the names of the interested parties who meet the preliminary criteria and qualify for Phase II of the Selection Process. During Phase II, eligible partners will be granted access to detailed information about the Biomass CHP Project and the Transaction.
